Author: I mean, girls can wear jeans, boys short, t-shirts. And boys can’t wear skirts and dresses and all that stuff. I just wonder why?

Society frowns upon it, and therefore people view it as against the norm when boys wear girls clothing.

some girl shirts have "Built in bras" just saying, that would look a tad creepy on a boy.
I mean, you can wear girl clothes, but you may get made fun of.

You can wear skinny jeans which wont look creepy, and possibly shirts with logos (People, Band names, etc).
Not all girls wear boy clothes, in fact i haven’t met a girl over the age of 9 who wears boy clothes.
**If you wanna wear a dress, Skirt, short shorts, im 99.7% sure you will get made fun of, so beware of bullys!

When it comes to dressing, guys’ clothes cover more and are generally more baggy, so though they’re not flattering on girls, they don’t look that bad.
Girls clothes are more revealing than guys’ clothes and more form fitting, so not only will they not fit well (you guys don’t have hips, boobs or a narrow waist, and your junk is in the way), but they’ll look bad because people generally consider the female body better looking. Plus people seem to be really repulsed by body hair on men nowadays so they don’t want to see hairy legs sticking out of a skirt.
As for the fact that girls can do guy things but guys have a tougher time being accepted doing girly things, it’s because of lingering sexism.
Men and some women still see girls as inferior to men even though people don’t blatantly express it (I’m not some big feminist or conspiracist or anything, it’s just the truth)
Guys see a girl who knows how to do guy things as good (unless she’s wearing baggy clothes and has short hair and whatnot, which is generally unattractive) whereas they see guys who do girl things as weak.
And girls view guys who do girly things as good to some extent (cooking, sewing, etc) because girls see themselves more equal to men than men do, so a man acting like a girl doesn’t really connote inferiority to girls.

Men view women as inferior. Saying that someone does something like a girl is an insult, ie "you throw like a girl!" Or if a man is behaving in an unmasculine way, his friends might ask him "where’s your skirt?" as an insulting way to taunt him. For whatever reason, things associated with girls or women are abhorrent to men. . So it’s okay and acceptable for a girl or a woman to wear the superior clothing, but it’s horrible for a boy to wear girls clothes. I think the whole thing is silly but what can you do? Some guys have fragile egos.
