I have had great luck w/ Craigslist, although I will only buy if they have photos and are from a smoke/pet free home. Also, garage sales can be a find too, but you have to get there early as kid’s clothes go fast.

I am a major bargain shopper so I find the cheapest cloths at a store called "Burke’s Outlet", and "Ross’s" those stores have the cutest baby clothes and so darn cheap.

I buy some from ebay for my expensive outfits. I go to consignment shops/sales. I also have a lot of cute outfits from Dollar General (some are the same brands that are sold in the pricey stores).
Check to see if you have large consignment sales in your area. Memphis has a few big ones each year. For instance here is a link to one starting tomorrow. http://www.consignkidstown.com/
