Sorry it took so long to upload! We had over 3 hours of footage so it took me a while to edit. And I’m so sorry a lot of the words are off from the picture, I have no idea how that happened! This baby shower was thrown by my side of the family on April 10, 2010 and Gabe’s side will be throwing us one in May =) I was 30 weeks and 1 day pregnant and we had so much fun! Lilia got SO many things, especially clothes! We also got a bassinet, baby swing, infant bath tub, high chair, and a travel system so sorry I couldnt fit everything into the video! We played so many fun games and you’ll see some of them in the vid. Enjoy! =)

NBC 25 Investigates Suspicious Product Removal at Family Dollar

HAGERSTOWN, MD – What would you do if you saw several pairs of children’s shoes taken off the shelf and destroyed while you were shopping?
One NBC 25 viewer says he saw it happen at a local dollar store, and called us to investigate.
William Wagonhoffer says he didn’t understand why dozens of shoes were being destroyed instead of donated in these tough economic times.
Workers at Family Dollar say they’re following new lead regulations.
Rick Adams of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce said, “So while they’re may be no lead in the product because we don’t have a testing report on the product, we don’t feel comfortable selling it to our customer or donating it for that matter because ultimately it could be an unsafe product. So better safe than sorry.”
The Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act went into effect February of this year, but will not be enforced until 2010.

Goodwill is gleaning through children’s items that they will allow to be sold in their stores per new regulations now in place with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act which went into affect February 10, 2009. A rep with a large notebook explained that Goodwill has always been proactive in pulling recalled childrens’ items. At least this thrift store chain appears to be using some commons sense and at least in Omaha, Nebraska, isn’t making it policy to not sell anything for children!
