Ah, ropa usada (sp. for used clothing) in Hidalgo, TX where one can buy clothes by the pound in warehouses where the clothes are piled high! Not all of the clothes are used. Some still have the stickers and tags on it. All across the country, stores dump their unsold items by binding them between palettes and selling it to the ropas by the truckload. You can find sweet deals, but you have to work for it. (That’s fine by me. I have more time than money, AND I can proudly state I paid 33¢ / lb. for what I am wearing.)
I was introduced to the “rag barns” by some Canadian snowbirds in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas back in like 2005. The ladies of the RV parks go to the ropas to buy clothes for silly fashion shows as well as to buy materials for quilt making. (The quilts are then donated to the poor each holiday season.)
It sure was fun to let Cooper climb and tumble on the 9-12 foot pile of cloth. However, I would NOT stop paying attention for even a second. It’s not a situation where one would want to play an impromptu game of “Where’s the Baby?”

Avya Models Moch Baby clothes for the 6th time. I actually went this time and absolutely hated it. There was one cool thing though. Avya wrote both her Korean and English names and numbers up to 9 on the whiteboard. None of the other kids, most being older, couldn’t do any of that. Yep, I am a proud father bragging.

23 weeks pregnant already! We are SO close to finishing Lilia’s room and we finally put up her name above the crib =) I had some MAJOR pregnancy brain in this video, can you image how much I mess up in my everyday life? lol, I also went thrift store shopping this weekend and found a purple bumbo seat, some cute clothes, some books, and even a shopping cart cover! This is not the first time I’ve posted simular pictures and the same song. However, now that I’m learning how to use the video editing software, I thought I would do it over again (Unfortunately, I lost some of the pictures I would have liked to use.)
As my daughter is nearing 3 years old, I find myself reflecting back on how much she has grown. I do not see it myself, only when she outgrows her clothes or in pictures and video’s do I see how much she has grown and blossomed into a little girl. I feel so blessed having her in our life. Thank you all for taking the time to watch our video’s and letting us share apart of ourselves with you

I had never heard of Hudson Baby until I ran into them here, so I was really skeptical, but it is now my favorite baby brand!!
This set is a GREAT price, the clothes is so very soft, and the sizes range bigger than most brands, so you can go longer with one size! That is perfect for me, because my little boy is so tall, and he grows like a beanstalk!
I just wish that they had more clothes for 12 month and up!
This set is adorable. The hat was a little small for my baby, but he just has a big head! I love that the velcro for the bib is off to the side.
When I have another baby, this WILL be my main brand!
