Author: i just got custody of my 3 yr old niece after my sister passed away, i don’t know much about raising a little girl, but i’m learning fast. where can i buy toddler clothes for her. i know that she wears a 3T, i’m not sure what that means yet, or where to buy quality inexpensive clothing for her can somebody help?
I am so sorry for yours and hers lost! 3T means that her clothing size is a 3 in toddlers, but because 3 yr olds grow fast, you will probably want a 4T if they seem like they will fit her. Target is a pretty good place for inexpensive children’s clothing, and it’s pretty good quality too. She will also need enrichment toys which can be anything from books to read to her, to building blocks, to dolls. Those can be bought inexpensively at places like target and dollar stores, just make sure the things you buy aren’t chocking hazards. If you haven’t already, you may want to enroll her in a daycare or a preschools so she can interact with other kids her age. like 0-3 , 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, 12-18, months then 1t, 2t 3t ect

Part time care of a family members 3 1/2 year old.
it normally says on the label 3T or 12 months and stuff.a good place to get close is just plain walmart it’s not expenxive and they have cute close for kids.you could cranimals clothing then you can mix and max clothes.also try looking it up stores for toddler or children that are near you location.i’m srry to here about your loss.good luck it’s not that hard you just gotta get used to things

I agree with Sara. Uhmm many stores have clothing for toddlers. She is a toddler. Uhm….I find a lot of admiration for you, for taking over your niece and im deeply sorry for your loss. She is gonna be guiding you through life and her daughter, as well. Stay strong and try to be there for your niece and always remind her of her mommy…

Marshalls, Tjmaxx, or Filene’s basement are the best places to get designer cheap clothing if they have these stores in your area. Much better quality then Target.walmart or whatever and they buy overstock/out of season clothes so you get good deals. I always shop there. And 3T means 3 years. I’m sooo sorry for your loss. D;

eBay is the best place for a bunch of good cheap clothes. You can find them new with tags or in good used condition. Good luck! She is blessed to have you.

If you live in Canada, Superstore has some really nice affordable clothing, as does walmart.
In the States you have more of a variety.
In baby clothing, it goes
0-3 months (newborn to 3 months of age)
3-6 months
6-9 months
9-12 months
12- 18 months ( 1 year to 1 1/2 years)
1T – 1 year of age (12 months)
18-24 months ( 11/2 year to 2 years)
2T- 2 years of age (24 months)
3T (3 years of age)
She may fit into 2T size clothing or even 4T size clothing. Just have her try on some clothing as the majority of brands goes by different sizing charts. Or if you don’t want to have her try on some clothing you can always hold up a shirt to her or a pair of pants and guesstimate.

Check local consignment shops. See if churches in your area have kids’ clothing sales. I know here there are tons for instance this weekend I know of 3 churches having them.
