I know about bride & groom wear. If an infant girl was brought to a Moroccan wedding, then what would she wear so extravagant? Would it look like a miniature takshita (also spelled tachita, taksheeta, etc.)? Would it be a baby’s elaborate caftan? Would it look anything like a dress for a christening? I have searched for hours to find this answer with no luck. Could you help?

She could wear just about anything. I had young girls at my wedding and many were in typical day to day clothes. The fancier dresses were reserved for the young women looking for husbands :P Dress her as you wish. Buy or rent her a beautiful caftan or takshita, or simply bring along any nice dress you may have.

Girls and boys wear their best outfits during Moroccan wedding, little girls are usually dressed in a nice taksheeta or kuftan, earing, jewlery to look thier best during Moroccan marriage ceremony. girls usually sit with their moms at same table, and they are the center of the conversation, and they get a lot of attention from adults.

Small, small girls about 2 years of age wear pretty caftans. I actually haven’t seen any babies at the weddings except those asleep and they look like they are wearing just lovely baby clothes. Tiny boys wear suits and the tiny girls caftans with their hair dressed beautifully.
Children always look gorgeous at Moroccan weddings, as do their mums.
