Kiefer Sutherland is a man’s man on his show “24″ but on Wednesday night’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” the tough guy revealed his feminine side.
Sutherland surprised the audience and Letterman as he stepped out onto the stage wearing a green sundress and black combat boots. The “24″ star explained, “I lost a bet over the weekend. I was so sure the New England [Patriots] were going to win that I told a guy who used to be my friend that if New England lost, I would wear a dress on Letterman.”
“Quite slimming,” Letterman reacted, adding, “You get on the subway like that, I’ll give you $1000.”
The actor responded while laughing, “I have to say, riding the subway would be easier than what I’m going through right now. This might be the most humiliating moment in my life and I’ve had a couple to choose from.”
The jokes continued with the action series star going on about his new style, saying, “Not looking really butch now, am I?” Sutherland returns to FOX’s “24″ in his big-boy clothes on Sunday, January 17.
