Raised in a non-Jewish home, Miriam came to faith in high school. It was in Bible College she was discipled by a Jewish believer and accepted God’s call to Jewish ministry. She served as a missionary to the Jews in New York City and Israel with Chosen People Ministries (1967-73), before meeting Sam. Together they served with Jews for Jesus (73-79) in their mobile evangelistic team, The Liberated Wailing Wall, then in the NYC branch, before Sam accepted several leadership roles in Chosen People Ministries (CPM).
