Okay a budget shopper but I like my kids to have nice things. When I used to go to school i got teased with the shoes and clothes i wore to school by other classmates. It really hurt. I just dont want my kids getting teased whats some good places to get the right clothes and shoes. Some of my friends drop 80 bucks on a pair of shoes for their kids. Clothing wise they will drop 30 for a complete outfit but i cant spend like that.

Thrift stores. I travel 60 miles approx once every 3 months to buy clothes for my kids. I have 3 kids and they grow out of their clothes so very fast. Hand me downs are not an option for me since there is a 9 year gap between my oldest boy and my youngest boy. And 8 years between my oldest boy and my middle girl. I find name brand clothes, perfect condition, at this great thrift store in Baton Rouge, LA. I pay on average $40 per child for a complete season wardrobe. Shoes are a hit or miss at thrift stores. I find mine for my children at http://mybargainbuddy.com/ or at an outlet mall. Same name brand products, just overstock. Kids grow out of clothes to quickly for you to spend a lot of money you don’t have just so they can brag about their jeans for a couple weeks.

    Old Navy is cheap.

On the expensive side, I like Nordstrom.

I shop at areopostal for my daughter and Otherplaces like that the key is to shop for sales. They had buy one get one free jeans a few weeks ago. Also If you have a walmart they hav some nice cloths and shoes there. At walmart you could get an outfit, with shoes and assesories, for about the price it would cost for one of my daughters pair jeans.
My daughter loves the assesories at walmart.
    Also old navy is cheap.
    And Kohls.
    One tip:
window shop at your local mall and look for sale signs.
I hope this helps if you need more advice feel free to add me as a contact
And for price wise I would say 100 to 175 each

The best thing o do is sign up to the littlewoods catalogue you can get really nice shoes and clothes there, and the best thing is, You dont have to pay all at once, you pay weekly by you card.
which is great for people who have children, because of all the schoolwear and stuff you can get on there . Other than that Matalan is a great place Nice things but cheap.

I know this doesn’t really answer your question, but this makes me so glad I live in Australia where school uniforms are compulsory. It really limits the amount of materialism with kids in school.

Do something unique. Try etsy.com. All the stuff is hand-designed and sewed and nobody has any idea what that might cost, therefore no way to judge. In fact, you find quite a price range on there. There are young designers in Soho selling their stuff on there but also stay-at-home moms trying to make a buck making embroidered backpacks. Also, believe it or not, thrift stores are great supplements for a wardrobe. Look for ones in nice neighborhoods as they often have some high end brands that are only lightly used. There’s one in Dallas close to Highland Park and you’ll find brand new stuff with tags still on them from Kids Gap. Good for you that you care about how your kids look. It’s part of their education and healthy self-esteem. Don’t worry too much about pinching pennies on them, though. Just remember that having money in your pocket and being able to provide for their educations will put you and your kids way ahead of people who pay full price.

As a parent been there still doing that however check with your local stores for the rewards programs(that offer like a friends and family day for additional discounts and VIPs) also check to see which retailer has layaway and continue to shop at department stores who receive merchandise three or more times a week because with that much inventory the same way your friends drops those buck wait a week or two and the sane merchandise will be available for a more discounted price good luck
