spain would be the country i would import to.

You are going to have to ask a customs broker and the Chinese exporters for accurate up to the minute info. But a quick Internet survey will give you some idea of the liberalisation of textile traffic under WTO rules.

What you need to know is the quota system, and whether and how you can get within it. I see some stuff on the Internet, using Google to search under various terms. But the amount of time required to get what you need is more than I can spend on this. And whatever you do find online you’re going to have to confirm with the textile guys at the European Commission in Brussels and the China textile export association.

:) around the chicago area perhaps?

Try seeing of you have a Once Upon A Child in the area. I love that store. They have new and used items.

My sister in law has daughter that is a little older than mine and she always passes down the clothes her daughter outgrows to my daughter. Two weeks ago she said she would bring these clothes by my house after work, but I haven’t seen her since. Would it be rude to call and ask if she would like for me to pick them up at her house? We were kinda looking forward to getting the summer clothes and shoes.

i don’t think so.. y’all are family you should give her a call maybe shes been to busy, and those clothes can come in handy :)

I have a way of getting good quality clothes for cheap (not new with tags)…. but like new and in excellent condition.

Would I do better selling them in pairs, lots, or individually?

I heard that clothes do really well on eBay. I’d try them different ways and see what is more successful for you. You might even put them individually but say you’ll sell in lots at a discount or something. You’ll have to read the posting rules. Make sure to post a picture.

Look at the children’s sizing section of this webpage:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/US_standard_clothing_size#Girls.27_sizes

You’ll have to measure your child to know for sure which size to go with. But 6x is about a 1/2 a size larger rather than a full size larger than a 6.

So, i was wondering what are some popular brands that most scene kids wear.

there r no brands…. just wear the cloth that every scene kid is using.. its still popular

who has the best selection?
who has more for my money?

I like Target prices the best for the outfits that I get. I don’t care much for the supposed value of Walmart. Target has more sales on infant and children’s clothing, plus some good deals on diaper brands. If you have more patience, you can try options like TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Ross, or even Goodwill. The prices are good, but you need the time and patience to sort through racks for clothing looking for the right sizes, brands, and prices. Another great option, make friends with a mom who has a baby slightly older than your own. Hand-me-downs are great, let someone else spend the money for high-quality baby clothes.

I work for a person that has a store on amazon selling t-shirts, he quit e-bay because he didn’t like the auction system.
i see how much money he is making with this opportunity, and i realize that there is a lot of competition out there.

Interview at naartjie kids store. What should I wear, is slacks TOO much or are jeans with a button down shirt TOO little

I don’t think it’s possible to "dress too nice" for an interview. When people dress-up for an interview, it shows that they are taking the interview and the person conducting the interview serious. Who likes to be taken seriously? I do! Wear some nice dress clothes to the interview.

Im a 2nd year fashion design student, im designing a kids collection this year, what sort of colours and styles do you enjoy buying for your kids?

I look for styles with some whimsy. Bright colors, cute characters, fun textures are great like embroidery, or fake fur trim, patches of different textured fabrics (like the look of an iron-on patch that looks like an airplane, etc). I like clothes that are comfortable and stretchy that kids can tumble around in with out feeling confined. They definitely need to be easy to wash (practical fabrics). I hate fashions that look like mini-adult clothing. Please no minis or crop shirts for girls and no little boys hip-hop wear! Kids should be kids! I think a lot of parents feel their kids grow up too fast, they don’t want to dress them like adults, too.
Good luck!
