Author: I’m a single mom doing everything on my own. I’m looking for site that people can list items for sale or to give away. I’ve already tried criaglist and gotten a few good outfits, but my son needs more than two outfits. Can someone help me?
In the US yard sale "season" is about to begin. I can search my local paper’s listing of yard sales and flea markets for free on-line, you could see if you can search your area’s listings on-line for free.
Freecycle is a definite yes! Not only can you get clothes for free, but anything else you could possible need! Last year we got two infant swings in good condition for free. Our daughter was to small for them then, but she loves her swing now!
You can also try your local thrift stores. Our daughter has been outfitted for very little money with us visiting our local thrift store only once or twice every couple of months. Try all the local thrift stores you can find. You may find that some are not worth going to (because of prices, cleanliness of the store, good or bad choice of merchandise). Eventually, though, you will find one that you like and it could become like a second home! (Our thrift store is almost an hour away, but even with gas prices the way they are, we save money going there. There are some thrift stores closer, but we’ve found a store that we really like for many reasons so it’s worth it to us to make the trip!)
If you get into it, eBay is a wonderful place to find clothes. (Personally, I’d rather haunt the thrift stores and yard sales.)
Whatever method you choose, I would suggest keeping one important thing in mind… kids grow and they do it fast! If you see an outfit or single piece of clothing in your travels that won’t fit your son now but will fit him sometime in the future, grab it! We’ve found good, quality merchandise for our daughter that won’t fit her until she’s 2-3 years older! We picked it up because we know that she will use it eventually. If you have the space, try to stock up if you have the opportunity. It could save you a bunch of money later.

supermarkets are very cheap and i know, your thinking "im not buying baby clothes from a supermarket!! what will the neighbours think!?" lol, but the clothes in asda really arent that bad! also try matalan and tk max, not sure how young thier clothes go to, but deff. asda

Look up the Chungking Mansions,you will find all your needs at a cheap price.
Forget about shipping….go to Freecycle.org in your area and ask for what you want. People give away tons of baby stuff all the time.
Ebay. Stuff sells for peanuts on there. Try searching under "baby clothes" category and "bundles and job lots" in the size and gender you want.
