Asha Bhosle (Marathi: आशा à¤à¥‹à¤‚सले) (born September 8, 1933) is an Indian singer. She is best known as a Bollywood playback singer, although she has a much wider repertoire. Her career started in 1943 and has spanned over six decades. She has done playback singing for over 1000 Bollywood movies and sold many records. She is the sister of the equally accomplished Lata Mangeshkar.
Asha Bhosle has won seven Filmfare Best Female Playback Awards out of 18 nominations. She won her first two awards in 1967 and 1968, when Lata Mangeshkar still used to accept the award (Mangeshkar asked not to be considered for the award nominations after 1969 to promote new talent). After receiving the award in 1979, Bhosle emulated her elder sister and requested that her name not be considered for the nominations hereafter. Despite this, Bhosle is the most frequent winner of this award to date, tying with Alka Yagnik. She was later given a Special Award for Rangeela in 1996, and the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001. Asha has won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer twice: * 1981: Dil Cheez Kya Hai (Umrao Jaan) * 1986: Mera Kuch Samaan (Ijaazat)

Honours and recognitions; * In 1997, Asha became the first Indian singer to be nominated for the Grammy Award, for Legacy, an album with Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. * She was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India.
Asha Bhosle received Padma Vibhushan from President Pratibha Patil on Monday May 5, 2008.

I know this economy is horrible and a lot of people are going through rough times right now, but I was wondering if there is a mom out there who would be able to help us out with some baby girl clothes. This is a last resort. :*(
I just found out I have 2 cysts where they do not belong and can’t have them removed for 2 months until our baby girl is born because I can’t go under anesthesia. I’m in a lot of pain and there is nothing doctors can do until then. It’s been one struggle after another. My mother-in-law died of cancer, my mom has cancer, so we’ve had to deal with the related expenses, not to mention skyrocketing food and gas prices. All of these things have been hitting us at one time in the 2nd and 3rd trimester of my pregnancy, and we never thought we would be in this position. Thank you for the suggestion of alternate websites, but I tried Craigslist but just got a bunch of spam responses unrelated to my post. We’ve also tried Freecycle but haven’t had any luck. :*( This has been very disheartening.
I have tons of 3-6 month and 6-9 month sizes. I dont know if that will help. I have no newborn sizes anymore. I have 2 boys and have found out I’m having another boy. I was initially disappointed but am now very excited and can’t wait for my bundle of boy to arrive.
My mum came today to help me pack away the baby girl clothes I’d collected since my first pregnancy. I was going to get her to take them with her, but I’m thinking about keeping them – even if they won’t come in handy.
I’m certain my husband won’t want another baby, and I don’t want to have another and another until I have a girl… but if these clothes are stashed away, will it do more harm than good?
I’d give them away in a flash if it was 100% assured there’s a girl hidden inside here with this baby boy in my belly.
I have girl clothes because I didn’t know what we were having the first time around and I’d started making and buying BOTH girl and boy baby clothes… as did my mum. I’m so glad I’ve kept the baby boy clothes as I’ve only been able to afford to buy a couple of little things as yet for this one.
I would keep them. When i was pregnant i brought both boy and girl items. When i gave birth it turned out i had a boy and so i put all the girls clothes into a bag i kept my favourite items for incase i had a girl in the future, and all the other girl items i gave to a friend who gave birth to a daughter after i had my son.
I see no harm in keeping some of the girl items.
Also don’t forget ultrasouds aren’t always 100% accurate and there is a chance you could still have a girl.
