it was done a LONG time ago, came with a genre of music and the bands/groups singing/playing it dressed and adapted a certain way by watching eachother and then it cought on to the public thus was adapted as the ‘emo’ fashion. it was a fashion style WAY LONG before it was a state of mind of term for “i cut myself because i’m depressed/stressed”
there are a lot of posers and fakes though, so yer

dude i get crap … dude i get crap from people about my hair being long for a dude check out my videos and tell me people wouldn’t have problem with it that long for a boy i mean my dad had his hair this long and he doesn’t have a probem with it
i can completely … i can completely relate to this video. My father has a problem with my hair. It is unruly and curly as hell, so he constantly tells me to put a brush through it(which btw will only turn curly hair into knife-in-the-electric-socket hair) or burn it with a straightening iron. I feel that my crazy curly hair is a reflection of how free-spirited and different i am and, personally, i LOVE it. But, I often feel that my father is embarrassed of my style, and embarrassed of me when we are out in public.
