My son is 4 months. I use Dreft to wash all of his clothes. I hate how much static and lint there is after washing and drying them without a dryer sheet. He never has had any skin sensitivity issues except that every now and then he gets dry patches. Is it safe to use a dryer sheet? Or should I just deal?

We use dryer sheets for our clothes which makes them super soft so it irked me to not be able to do it for Lillis clothes. Then I found Method Baby Dryer Sheets. They are $5/40 but you can use each

I don’t really enjoy wearing girls/girly clothes.
I prefer shopping on the boys side to find what I want. (except underwear, I do wear girls underwear)
Would boys find it not very attractive that I enjoy wearing boys clothes more than girls clothes???

yeah it totally reduces the sex-appeal of a woman, so you should not do that. it makes you a lot less appealing to the other gender :P

im in the uk i want them for my son for school

Have you tried ebay?
There is alot of sellers selling in shops and the stuff is brand new,i got my son`s diesel trainers from there, failing that how about the diesel shop or gravity or junior station or somewhere similar you know like a childrens designer shop.

So my daughter was a really lucky girl a few weeks ago. A very kind lady that we know gave her a lot of new clothes that she didn’t get to use on her daughter. It’s mostly gymboree (expensive clothes). She’s 19 months old and gets very dirty sometimes. I don’t want her clothes all stained first because it looks gross and second because it’s pretty much new and expensive. I wash her clothes with Dreft and Oxi Clean. Do you know of any other detergents or liquids that really work on stains? Thanks!

Does it seem like you or perhaps your kids are constantly getting stains on your clothes? Do you struggle to get the stains out? Well, if you follow these steps, your stain removal battles will soon be over, and you’ll be able to easily remove stains from clothes.

Step 1-
Let’s start with grease stains. Most grease stains can be removed by simply rubbing them well with soap or detergent and then washing the clothing in hot, soapy water. If, however, any grease stain still remains, try to sponge the stain with dry cleaning fluid. This should remove any remaining stains from your clothes.

Step 2-Next let’s look into how to remove gum from clothes. First, you’ll want to chill the stain with ice until the gum easily rolls into a ball when scraped. Then you should sponge off the remaining stain with dry cleaning fluid, wash in warm soapy water, and rinse well to fully remove the stains from your clothes.

Step 3-Another common clothing stain is from ink. First, you’ll want to rinse the clothing in cool water, and then wash it in hot soapy water with a few drops of ammonia added and rinse well afterwards. If any stain still remains, add 3 tablespoons of oxalic acid crystals to 1 pint of water, and soak for 15 minutes. Follow this with a good rinse of water mixed with a few drops of ammonia. It’s amazing how well ammonia works to remove stains from clothes!

Step 4-A common clothing stain for women comes from their best friend: lipstick. To remove lipstick stains from clothes, you must sponge the lipstick spot with dry cleaning fluid, wash the clothes with warm soapy water, and rinse well.

Step 5-Another common clothing stain for women comes from nail polish. To remove this stain from clothes, you need to first soak the stain with acetone or any nail polish remover. Then wash the clothing in warm soapy water and rinse well.

Step 6-Now here’s a good stain for men and women: paint. To remove paint stains from clothes, first try to remove as much of the fresh paint as possible from the clothing. Then rub the stain with dry cleaning fluid or pure turpentine, wash in warm soapy water, and rinse well.

Step 7-Another common stain that needs to be removed from clothing is from blood. To remove blood stains from clothes, you’ll need to soak the fresh stain in cold water until the stain turns light brown. Then wash the clothing in warm soapy water. If any stain remains, soak the clothing in a mixture of 2 tablespoons of ammonia to each gallon of water for 15 minutes. Then wash and rinse.

Step 8-To remove coffee and tea stains from clothes, you should first soak the stain in warm soapy water and then wash the clothes as you normally do. If any stain remains, try bleaching the stain with chlorine bleach and sponging the stain with dry cleaning fluid if there was any cream in the coffee.

Step 9-To remove fruit stains from clothes, stretch the stained clothing over a bowl and pour boiling water over the stain. You may have to repeat this process several times before you wash and rinse. If any stain remains, try using some household bleach.

Step 10-Lastly, a very common stain for kids is the all too familiar grass stain. To remove grass stains from clothes, first rub soap into the stain and scrub. Then wash the clothing in hot soapy water. If any stain remains, you can try to bleach the clothing in a solution of 1 teaspoon sodium perborate to one pint hydrogen peroxide. You’ll want to be sure to first test this solution on an inconspicuous part of the clothing. If the solution tests safely on the clothing, soak it for a half an hour or longer and rinse well.

I saw him a couple nights ago and he’s this really hardcore punk boy. And I’m this really old style hippie girl ha.
And we were at this meeting and I was talking about some things that I’ve gone through and at the end of the meeting he was like, "Awesome story, little girl." And then gave me a hug and I asked him where he got his clothes and he said he made them but then another girl started talking to me and he went outside and smoked a cigarette so then I went out and asked him about sewing and we started talking about music and we really hit it off and he wanted me to come to a free show on Friday with him but I’m busy on a camping trip and then this girl came over and he asked her how old she is and she said 18 and we were all like, "Only 18???" and she was like, yeah I’m the baby. and I was like, "No, no, //I’m// the baby." And Bear (thats the boy) was like, "How old are you?" and I was like 16 and he said hes 21. (Well thats a 5 year difference but when I was 15 I dated a 19 year old and thats a four year difference) and then that girl left and me and Bear smoke a bunch of cigarettes and talked about life and I could really tell he was into me because he kept saying I’m pretty and he was trying to be impressive and brag and he’s really cool. I think he just doesn’t want to make a move because I’m 16 and he gave me his number and said I could call anytime.
Well I’m not allowed to use the phone right now I think I might get it back tomarrow and I see him Wensday so should I call him Tuesday? And what should I say to him? But if I can’t call him should I make a move Wensday?
:) that’s all.

I think u should follow ur heart. U definitely should make the first move, tho, b/c he doesnt want to feel like he’s pushing you.

This rave site could give you some ideas for rave clothing

I just started seeing advertisements for Royal Bambini Infant & Children’s Boutique http://www.royalbambini.com. Their stuff looks cute and is a great price….is it "cool enough" for a baby to wear to a playgroup where all the other kids are in Gymboree & Baby LuLu? I want to be a cool, hip Mom, but I can’t afford the other brands!

I just checked out their site and I say GO FOR IT! The clothes are a great price and they have free shipping right now! Who cares what the other kids are wearing!! The kids don’t care, it’s just their parents trying to impress others. I’ll admit, I’ve bought a few pieces from some of the trendier stores, but their quality isn’t that much better when your kids are totally trashing the clothes at the playground. I’d rather buy more stuff at a better price and save the money for other things.

The San Diego craigslist has a special fire forum.

is there anything special that you have to do before doing so? I was just wanting to start out online and to people where i live. I didn’t know if there were certain things I would have to do before i was able to do this.

First of all if you monogram things you can charge more for that. You have to consider that with hobbies unless you are a designer and make one of a kind children’s clothes your profit is usually three times the amount of the material you put into your work.
