overall not bad deals. personally i tend to shy away from the big lots just because i have ran into problems with it. i also always make sure that i calculate the shipping into my per price amount. i always set myself a limit of $2 per piece if it is excellent condition.

I mean upscale clothing or brands that you can only find in specialty shops? I am looking for an expensive present and don’t want the usual brands like:
old navy, gap, ralph lauren, carter’s, etc. I want something special!

I also love buying baby clothes from etsy.com- its handmade stuff and some of it is REALLY adorable and unique. My son has a pair of ‘cowboy booties’ I got off etsy…and since its handmade you can sometimes ask for customizations (colors, designs, etc) and they don’t charge more (its usually relatively cheap too).

I can’t find sewing patterns for my daughter’s Build a Bear dolls, but noticed some patterns for Cabbage Patch Kids dolls on ebay, does anyone have both types of dolls, and can they wear each others clothes? If they can then I should be able to use CPK patterns to make BAB clothes…
To luluanalgrape: If I knew how to make my own pattern I wouldn’t be asking the question now would I? Talk about needing to get a life…

Try doing a search for CPK sewing patterns. There might be some free ones. Pick one and make it. If you can knit or crochet, I think there are free patterns for CPK. This might also help. Good Luck.

I’m getting married May 2nd and my son will be almost 8months old then. My fiance will be wearing a black shirt with a Burgundy tie and we want our son to wear a Burgundy shirt with a black tie. Does anyone know where I could find these for him without paying an arm and a leg?

Try Marshall’s, TJ Max, Ross, stores like that… they may have something cheaper.

If not, Macy’s or Nordstroms would most likely have what you’re looking for… but probably more expensive.

Try craigslist and ebay, too… you never know what you might find.

what kind of clothes should i wear to attract boys? right now i wear ed hardy and juicy..anything else? any styles boys like?

Is there anywhere where I can find shoes? Im 5’6 120lbs and my foot is TINY. I cant find shoes anywhere =[ Except converse and vans. I need high heels and nice flats.

you have to go online try stevies that is steve maden shoes but for children. i bought my daughter the cutest sandles and they actually had a heel on them. you should look online.

My daughter was playing with play-doh in her new clothes! i normally would change her clothes to play clothes but i didnt know that she got into it and before you know it its too late! its already on her brand new jeans. its hard for me to take it out. Any help in what i can do to remove play-doh from her jeans?

Let it dry completely and then remove it with a stiff brush. You might need to follow up with some mild soap and water. But that should do the trick!

My sister is currently 9 months and 4 days pregnant and we dont know if its a boy or a girl!

Since learning that I was going to be an Aunt I have been putting money aside every week and have about 600 dollars now to get the baby some cool things!
Between us, (my family, and my sisters husbands family) we have already gotten everything she NEEDS, (stroller, car seat ect), so I want to get the baby some lovely clothes/toys and other things.

My question(s) is/are…
What is the Best unique gift you were given when your baby was born?
Where do I get the best coolest/ unique clothes?
What is the best baby gadget out there?

Does your sister have a breast pump? They are a bit pricey, but would make a great gift, if she is going to breastfeed and doesn’t have one yet. When my sister had her first baby almost ten years ago, I went to Michael’s arts and crafts store and bought a baby bassinet basket and then started assembling my own gift basket. I put a bunch of different outfits, a bag of diapers, a box of wipes, onesie, bibs, cloth diapers to use as spit up rags, paci’s, a couple plush dolls, a couple baby blankets, hats, a couple bottles, spoons, baby bowls, booties, ect. There were a lot of goodies in there. You should have seen the look on my sisters face. It was priceless. She was so surprised and very much speechless. I got many, many compliments on that basket walking through the hospital to my sister’s room. She loved the basket, and I had a lot of fun putting the basket together for her Good Luck with what ever you decide to give her. Your sister will love it!

both girls ages 9 and 6, where do kids shop these days and what are the styles. I am such a dork I really don’t know.
